My name is Greig Neilson and I am the owner-operator of Web21.nz. Based in Omokoroa, just out of Tauranga, Web21 is here to serve small businesses that need a great-looking website at an excellent price.
I started Web21 to fill a gap in the marketplace for cost-effective, a.k.a. cheap websites that looked good and were easy to update. In the course of running my marketing firm I would meet lots of small business operators who didn’t have a website. When I asked them why, they would tell me that they didn’t have the $2,000, $5,000 or $20,000 they needed to make it happen. After spending a decade building my own websites I knew that getting on the internet doesn’t need to be that expensive!
In 2019 the easiest and best way to get on the web is through the use of clever tools to make it happen. Here at Web21 we use WordPress, Genesis, Elementor and a selection of clever gizmos known as plugins. You can read more about these tools here. We have invested literally thousands of hours putting these tools to work to create a system for setting up and maintaining beautiful sites that are easy to update. There’s no rocket science in what we do – with time and lots of coffee you could probably do it too!
But when it comes to making a web design really work the secret is in making sure that your customers can find you. This is where content comes to the fore. Without the right words and pictures search engines like Google simply won’t find you.
